In the last 60 years, Puget Sound Blood Center established itself as one of the world’s premier blood and research centers. Our leadership in transfusion medicine allows us to save lives every day. The Blood Center’s research and donation programs deliver hope for premature babies, ease the suffering of cancer and leukemia patients and promise recovery to accident victims and organ transplant recipients.
Puget Sound Blood Center serves more than 70 hospitals and clinics in Western Washington with blood services and provides tissue and transplantation support to 184 hospitals across the Northwest. We are the key link between hundreds of thousands of volunteer blood donors and patients in need of lifesaving blood transfusions.
