Celebrate Faces for Life on March 6, 2010 at the Grand Hyatt Seattle, benefiting Thrombosis Research.

Faces was started to honor the hundreds of thousands of faceless, unnoticed and unrecognized volunteers in our community who give their time, energy and even their blood. Whether they are candy stripers at the hospital, little league coaches or bone marrow donors, volunteers are the faces behind the gift of life. Hundreds of artists and celebrities have created “faces” that represented the participant’s interpretation of the face behind the gift of life.

Why are you involved with the Blood Center?
This year to highlight the 65th year of our work at the Blood Center, we are collecting stories of people whose lives have been touched by our work. Whether you’re a patient, donor, volunteer, sponsor or contributor, share your story with us!

Stories received will be displayed at Bellevue Square from February 22 – March 5 and on March 6th at the Faces for Life Gala.
