“Lifeblood”
Family, friends, strangers, we all have the opportunity to “tangle” in each other’s
lives in an integral way – donating blood. This nest represents that tangle of life,
the winding together of separate lives making a strong and life giving whole. The
nest is shelter, safety, respite, home – it’s all of us winding our lives together, the
individual pieces of nature combining to make a strong and beautiful whole.
Made of forged copper leaves, rebar, copper pods, copper wire and tube, with over 500
garnets wound throughout to represent the “lifeblood” we need and have to give.
Value: $1,250
